1. Add the amount to determine the total amount of high-viscosity asphalt to be prepared, and calculate the weight of the high-viscosity asphalt modifier based on the total amount of high-viscosity asphalt. (the amount to be added is generally 5% to 8% of the weight of the high-viscosity asphalt)
2. Mixture production
(A) Dry mixing process
Using the direct input method, put the high-viscosity asphalt modifier (the addition ratio is 0.5-0.8% of the stone) and the dried aggregate into the mixing tank of the asphalt mixing plant for dry mixing. Dry mix for 10 seconds. Then add the base asphalt and mineral powder and mix for about 40 seconds.
(B) In the wet mixing process, the high-viscosity asphalt modifier is directly added into the asphalt storage tank with stirring function in proportion (the mass ratio of modifier to asphalt is 4%-6%), and the temperature is maintained at 180-190°C. Keep stirring at high temperature for 2-4 hours. After stirring evenly, the finished high-viscosity asphalt will become the finished product. When used, the high-viscosity asphalt is heated to 170-175°C and then directly pumped into the asphalt mixture mixing plant for production of the mixture.
