Asphalt warm mix can reduce the mixing, paving and compaction temperatures by 30~60℃ compared with conventional hot mix, and has many advantages such as better road performance than hot mix;
(1) Extend the construction season and allow construction at ambient temperatures above -5°C.
(2) Energy conservation, environmental protection and improvement of the working environment can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by about 50% and reduce asphalt smoke and other toxic gas emissions by more than 80%;
(3) Prevent asphalt aging, ensure compaction and construction quality, and extend the life of asphalt pavement.
Energy saving and emission reduction: During normal construction season, the mixing temperature of asphalt mixture can be reduced by 20-40°C, saving fuel consumption and significantly reducing "asphalt smoke" emissions and greenhouse gas emissions.
Extended construction season: Normal construction can be performed above -5℃ in winter.
Reduce asphalt aging: Increase the water stability and fatigue cracking resistance of asphalt mixtures, thereby improving the durability of asphalt pavement.
